Enrichment classes

We offer our children, the opportunity to enhance their learning through a wide range of enrichment classes and excursions which help the children explore a world beyond First Steps Kindergarten and their own homes.

Here are some examples of these:

Artistic classes – ceramic workshops, clay creations, plastic mass, origami, folk art workshops, decorative ornaments making, weaving
Cooking workshops – creation of healthy snacks and meals along with preparation skills such as chopping, mixing, kneading, and decorating along with instructions on the safe use of kitchen utensils
International Days – foreigners present information about their homeland, language, culture, customs, legends, national dishes, outfits and famous fairytales.
Professions and work places – visits by people with interesting jobs in specialised places
Religion classes – for 5 and 6 year olds led by a qualified catechist (on request)
Corrective exercise classes – for those children who need postural strengthening run by a specialist.
Modern Dance/Classic and Rhythmic classes – offers basic movements, with a sense of rhythm and simple choreographed dances.
Ju-jitsu – martial arts
Ethnological workshops – through the cooking of international dishes, children learn about different countries, cultures, customs and history.
Trips to theatres
Library Workshops – visits during thematic exhibitions whereby they listen to stories told by a librarian and participate in connected art projects
Meetings with the cartoon characters
Trips & excursions – in and around Bielsko-Biala
